Accreditations & Memberships
The associations we belong to are the ones that define quality in our field. Membership keeps our legal and financial translation work accountable to standards set beyond our own four walls.
American Translators Association (ATA)
The ATA is the largest professional body for translators and interpreters in the United States, and its code of ethics and professional standards are the reference point clients here expect a serious agency to meet. As a corporate member, Jurilingua is bound to those standards on every project we deliver, which is part of why our certified translations are accepted by US courts and federal agencies.
Our ATA membership (Number M-197467) also connects us to a vetted pool of certified linguists across the country, which is what lets us serve clients coast to coast. From New York to Chicago to San Francisco, we cover more than seventy metros through our network, all of which you can browse from our list of US locations.
Association of Translation Companies (ATC)
The ATC is the leading voice of the language industry in the United Kingdom. For clients whose matters cross the Atlantic, whether that is a British acquisition, a UK court exhibit or a contract governed by English law, our ATC membership signals that we understand the expectations on that side too. It keeps our processes aligned with recognized British quality benchmarks, not just American ones
European Language Industry Association (ELIA)
ELIA brings together language companies across Europe. Businesses and attorneys who build cases or close deals involving European counterparts need translations that will be taken seriously in Paris, Frankfurt or Madrid as readily as in Miami. Our ELIA membership plugs us into that European framework and its network of specialists, so cross-border files are handled by people who know both the language and the legal culture on each end.
GALA Global
The North American Translation Alliance (NATA) is the leading organization bringing together professionals from the language services industry across North America, including Canada, the United States, and Mexico. These three countries generate a significant volume of cross-border legal transactions in Spanish, Canadian French, and English.
For this reason, we considered it essential to join NATA and build strategic partnerships with professional legal translators, language technology providers, and industry service partners. Our membership reflects our commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards and continuously strengthening the quality, reliability, and expertise of the legal translation services we provide.
Why Membership Matters?
Anyone can call themselves a legal translator. Membership in these institutions is different, because it comes with obligations: a code of conduct, quality expectations and the reputational weight of bodies that other professionals already recognize. When a client sees the ATA, ATC or ELIA name next to ours, they are seeing a shorthand for prestige and reliability that took the industry decades to build.
These associations are, in a real sense, the guardians of quality in translation. They are the ones that codify the standards, and our job is to live up to them on every file. That is exactly what our internal quality methodology is designed to guarantee, translating those industry expectations into a concrete, repeatable process for your documents.
